The last 12 months has seen London Elektricity AKA Tony Colman smash up the musical side of d+b. With his acclaimed album Billion Dollar Gravy, the innovative London Elek live show and his DJ residency at Hospitality London Elektricity is firing on all cylinders.
In May 2003 the Billion Dollar Gravy LP was finally unleashed. Featuring long-time LE collaborator Liane Carroll, house music legend Robert Owens and the mad breakbeat skills of the Jungle Drummer, Gravy has earned a sackful of plaudits.
During recording, a late night phonecall came throug asking LE to play live at BBC's Maida Vale studios for Fabio and Grooverider, and the London Elektricity Live show was born. The first 100% live D+B show, the band has caused quite a stir and has been in constant demand touring the UK and Europe extensively in 2003.
