With explosive stage presence, devastating rhymes and an unmistakable voice, Skrein is steadily building a reputation for himself as Britain's hungriest MC. Touted by Choice FM's DJ 279 as "one to watch for 2006", Skrein's music ranges from eccentric to socially conscious, heart-warming to downright hilarious, playfully adapting his style to suit tracks conceptually as well as musically.

Skrein cut his teeth in the underground scene with his crew Underground Alliance (UNDALI) and collaborations with heavyweight artists such as Foreign Beggars, Taskforce, Skinnyman, Plan B, Dubbledge and Shameless over production from the likes of Ghost Town, Jimmy Wha' Gwaan, DJ IQ and Dag Nabbit.

Skrein has left his mark firmly on the underground Hip-Hop circuit, performing alongside the cream of the country's talent. He has also toured overseas and supported well-known US acts such as The Beatnuts, Maseo (De Le Soul) and DJ Numark (Jurrassic 5), tearing up shows from Cambridge to Sevilla, Scotland to Oslo, Stevanger to his hometown of London.

Best remembered for his standout appearance on the Foreign Beggars album 'Asylum Speakers', Skrein's solo ventures ('Mind Out' 12" & 'Idols' 7") have all achieved critical acclaim and mainstream radio play. His videos for 'Mind Out' and 'The Youth' have also received heavy rotation on Channel U.

As well as touring the UK and Europe with UNDALI and Foreign Beggars, performing at Glastonbury 2005 and the Sprite Urban Games, Skrein has appeared on numerous Radio Shows and Mixtapes most notably with Ras Kwarme on BBCRadio1 DJ Excalabah's 'UK Dub States' and DJ Moodie's 'Construction Skills'.

His latest project is the 'Scene Stealers' EP with Dr Syntax, due for release in 2006 on Dented Records. This will be followed by Skrein's star-studded mix CD 'The Eat Up', in preparation for the highly anticipated solo album he is currently completing.

His quick wit, razor sharp tongue and unmatched work rate have confirmed Skrein's position at the cutting edge of contemporary British music. Fans will expect and receive nothing but the best, which is undoubtedly yet to come for Skrein.
