Rebel Bass

Crank up the bass with this ‘Rebel Bass’ tee.

By the late 1980’s, the boom box had become a powerful icon of the urban hip-hop scene. It provided a sub-culture of youths with an influential public and social voice.

For the first time, modestly mixed tapes were created in bedrooms, small venues and clubs and taken to the streets. Tunes were shared faster than ever before. Underground music scenes boomed and sub-genres evolved and emerged.

The boom box symbolized shared attitudes, reinstating the presence of the undervalued youth, pissing off your elders and taking a stand against authority.

The Harder They Come

The Harder They Come, 100% carbon neutral organic cotton. This t-shirt was designed by Gibla74, and was inspired by Jimmy Cliff's 1972 cult reggae film.

This image, however, is of reggae artist Tenor Saw.

With modern farming techniques, hemp can now be grown with 10% of the water that it takes to grow non organic, conventional cotton.

Cotton is one of the most thirsty crops that can be grown, and when grown inorganically it uses a vast amount of chemical fertilisers.

Our mission is simple - to support organic farming, reduce agricultural chemical use, encourage ethical trade, save water and to create a buzz around activism.

THTC is not just a brand. THTC is an extended family of talented musicians, poets, actors, dancers and activists. If you've ever bought or worn a THTC t-shirt you are helping to spread our message and we thank you. THTC fam, you know who you are!!
