MC Zani
MC Zani is more than just your average East Ender. The 2008 UK Beatboxing Champion is also lead tutor with Battersea Arts Centre’s pioneering BAC Beatbox Academy project. The project is in association with All From The Mouth, a leading human beatbox agency, and helps young people in South London; introducing them to the art of beatboxing and enhancing their skills.
MC Zani is already a 9 year veteran of the beatboxing scene, and has performed at some of the world’s best known venues and prestigious stages such as Madison Square Garden and Glastonbury; working with artists such Ludacris, 50 Cent, Taylor Swift, Sean Kingston, Sean Paul, Lupe Fiasco, Dead Prez, GZA, Akon, Musiq Soulchild, Missy Elliot, 112, Kelly Rowland and Craig David and many more.
He has appeared on TV shows across the world including The Paul O’Grady Show, The Disney Channel, BBC2 and various programs in America, Asia and Europe and was a judge for the 2010 UK Beatboxing Championships.
When he’s not tutoring, MC Zani can be found with fellow Hip Hop activists FULLeBLUNT and fellow THTC soldiers Foreign Beggars.
